Finding the right therapist in Miami can feel overwhelming—especially when you’re someone who’s used to handling everything on your own. At Think Big Therapy, I work with high-achieving professionals, entrepreneurs, and mothers who appear “fine” on the outside but feel stressed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted beneath the surface.

Many of my clients live or work in fast-paced areas like Brickell, Wynwood, Design District, Miami Beach and Coral Gables, where pressure, ambition, and responsibility are constant. You may be juggling a demanding career, parenting, relationships, or all three—while quietly feeling burned out, disconnected, or stuck in cycles of perfectionism and self-criticism.

As a licensed mental health counselor in Miami, I offer evidence-based therapy that goes beyond insight alone. My approach is practical, structured, and tailored to people who value growth, depth, and efficiency. Therapy with me is collaborative and focused on helping you build real coping skills, emotional resilience, and a healthier relationship with yourself—so success doesn’t come at the expense of your well-being.

What Can Therapy Help With?

Therapy can support you through a wide range of challenges, including:

  • Anxiety & stress management
Learn how to calm your nervous system, reduce overthinking, and feel more grounded day-to-day.

  • Burnout recovery
Address emotional exhaustion, loss of motivation, and the pressure to always “push through.”

    Perfectionism & self-criticism
Break free from all-or-nothing thinking, fear of failure, and harsh inner dialogue.

  • Work-life balance
Set boundaries, manage competing demands, and create space for rest without guilt.

  • Relationship challenges
Improve communication, attachment patterns, and emotional connection.

  • Life transitions
Navigate motherhood, career changes, relocations, or identity shifts with clarity and support.

If you’re searching for therapy in Miami that understands high standards and high stress, you’re in the right place.

Meet Michelle

I’m Michelle Ingrosso, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Miami with over 10 years of clinical experience. I earned my graduate training through the University of Miami and have worked extensively with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, and major life transitions.

My therapeutic style is warm, direct, and goal-oriented. I integrate evidence-based approaches with practical tools designed for people who want therapy to work—not just talk. Many of my clients are professionals and parents who value insight but need strategies they can actually apply in real life.

I offer therapy in both English and Italian, and I’m passionate about supporting individuals who feel unseen or misunderstood despite being highly capable.

  • Individual sessions are $200 for a 50-minute appointment.

  • Each therapy session is 50 minutes.

  • I do not accept health insurance.

  • Most clients begin with weekly sessions, then adjust frequency as progress is made.

  • We'll begin our first session by reviewing some important information from your initial paperwork, including confidentiality and policies, and addressing any questions you might have. After that, we’ll dive into discussing the issues that brought you to therapy. The first appointment is more of a casual conversation where I get to know you and understand where you feel stuck. I will ask a lot of questions and might introduce some new practices right from the start if you're comfortable with it.

This session is as much an opportunity for you to get a sense of what working with me will be like as it is for me to understand your needs.

I encourage you to view the first several sessions of therapy as a trial period to see if it feels right for you. If it doesn't seem like the right fit, I will happily provide referrals to other providers.
